OMNIC Peak Resolve is a peak deconvolution and curve-fitting module for Thermo Electron Corporation’s OMNIC spectroscopy software. It helps analysts separate overlapping bands, quantify components, and interpret complex FT-IR, Raman, and other vibrational spectra. The tool combines automated and manual peak finding with flexible baseline correction and supports common line shapes (Gaussian, Lorentzian, Voigt) with parameter constraints to achieve reliable fits. Results include residuals and goodness-of-fit metrics, component tables, and area or height values for quantitation, which can be exported or applied in batch across datasets.
Seamlessly integrated with OMNIC workflows for preprocessing (such as smoothing, derivatives, and region selection) and reporting, OMNIC Peak Resolve improves reproducibility in research, method development, and routine QA/QC. By clarifying congested spectral regions and delivering documented, defensible fits, it accelerates spectral interpretation and supports confident decision-making across materials, polymers, pharmaceuticals, and chemical analysis.
OMNIC Peak Resolve is developed by Thermo Fisher Scientific and is used by 3 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 7.3, 7.4, 8.0 and 8.1. The names of program executable files are omnic32.exe, peak.exe.
